PARTIAL LAND FREIGHT

Wednesday, May 6, 2020

On partial transportation, truck planning is very crucial. The planning should be arranged considering the type of goods, packaging type, and stackability. Also, depot planning is another point to be considered.

Another important point is the weight and volume of the goods to be transported. Calculations of partial land freight are made by cubic meter, tare weight, and ladameter calculation systems. Partial land freight calculation in cubic meters is done by using the Width x Length x Height x Quantity formula.

Accordingly;

1 m3 = 333 kg

1 ton = 3 m3

1 ldm = 1750 kg is calculated.
